Do I Qualify?

HomeFront affordable housing eligibility is based on income and household size, and varies by rental. To qualify for HomeFront Billings rentals:

  • You must meet income requirements. See below for more information.
  • You must submit either three (3) landlord references or five (5) professional references, or a combination for a total of five (5).
  • Those applying for all rentals must submit to and pass a background check.
  • You must keep your application information up to date, including address and family size changes. If we cannot contact you at the address we have on file, your name will be removed from the waiting list. Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher, Pleasantview, and Laurel Gardens applicants can check the status of their application by calling (406) 237-1959.

Housing Choice Vouchers (HCVs) help pay the rent in the form of vouchers that are paid directly to a private landlord. Residents are responsible for finding rentals that accept HCVs.
