As circumstances from COVID-19 evolve, HomeFront remains committed to the health and well-being of our staff, participants, and community.  We will continue to monitor recommendations from public health agencies and available community resources.

HomeFront is currently offering limited lobby hours.

 

Despite Governor Gianforte’s lift of the statewide mask mandate, HomeFront will continue with established COVID-19 protocols outlined in our phased reopening plan

From 8:30a – 5:00p, Monday -Friday, individuals with a legitimate need to enter the lobby will be allowed access if in compliance with the following restrictions:

  • No more than 3 individuals will be allowed access to the lobby at one time (including staff).
  • Individuals must wear a face covering for the duration of their time in the lobby.
  • A health screening will be conducted prior to entry, and 6-feet of separation between individuals will be enforced to uphold social distancing guidelines.

To protect the health and safety of our staff, access will be denied to individuals not in compliance with these restrictions.

The front vestibule of our agency will be unlocked during business hours to allow for participants to acquire change forms. Please submit all changes and supporting documents by email if at all possible. If you need to turn in hard copies of change forms and paperwork, please place in the exterior drop-box.

Emergency Housing Assistance Program

If you are having difficulty paying your rent or mortgage due to COVID-related loss of income, we urge you to apply for the Emergency Housing Assistance Program through the State of Montana.

This program provides rent, security deposit, mortgage payment assistance, and/or hazard insurance for those who have lost their job or substantial income due to COVID-19, up to $2,000 per month.

Beginning August 31, 2020, Montana Housing’s Emergency Assistance Program will pay the difference between 25 percent of the household’s current net monthly income and their eligibility housing assistance costs, up to $2,000 a month with a minimum monthly payment of $250.

The program has eliminated the $10,000 readily available assets limit.
